I was the third employee at Plann, where I helped scale the company from a small startup to a team of 50 people. We built a product that millions loved, achieved consistent growth, and ultimately secured a successful exit to Linktree.
During this journey, I led engineering teams through rapid scaling, navigated the challenges of hypergrowth, and learned firsthand what it takes to build sustainable tech infrastructure that can handle millions of users.
After the acquisition, I led Linktree's "Grow" team, managing engineering at global scale. I oversaw teams across multiple time zones, architected systems handling billions of requests, and maintained the agility that made us successful in the first place.
Then burnout hit. The endless sprints, the 24/7 availability, the weight of constant decision-making - it all caught up. That's when I realized there had to be a better way, both for CTOs and for the founders who need them.
